Cill Aodáin Fireplace
This fireplace we call the Cill Aodáin design - the original came from the old house at Swinford Convent.
We took it apart and repolished each piece and put it together again and installed it into a hotel in County Mayo. Shown in this photograph made from Irish Brown / Red Marble called 'Kerry Red'. We modified the sizes to create a fireplace that is more suitable to modern house design, yet holds the character of the 'Big House' style. This fireplace can be made from 5ft 6ins up to any width and stands normally 4ft 6ins off the floor. When made in cream it has a contemporary feel in a timeless, classic style that will never date.
